Dr. Thom loves kids & loves orthodontics, and as long as the Lord blesses him with good health, he has no intention of retiring. He's having too much fun taking care of the next generation of families and doing what he was surely made to do!
When not involved with orthodontics (or giving Dr. Gordon fatherly advice), Dr. Thom most enjoys spending time with his growing family: his wife of 51 years, Elaine; his son Michael and wife Laura, and their six children, Banks, Salem, Wilson, Riggs, Burns & Sims; his son Gordon & wife Holly, and their children, Thomas III and Marie C

Going to ball games (lots of 'em), hunting, fishing, yard work, watching the Tarheels...it's all good if Dr. T can be with his family!
